Italian cuisine is loved all over the world and belongs to the culinary heritage, but often only authentic dishes seem to be cooked; there is little experimentation with new flavor combinations.

Sergio changes that with his take on the 'cucina nuova'. In more than sixty recipes that can be easily prepared at home, he presents dishes that are basically classic Italian, but always have their own flow or characterful twist and really show his vision of the new Italian cuisine. So don't expect an authentic pasta carbonara with bacon, rather a carbonara with pipe rigate and North Sea crab, or pappardelle with Zeeland mussels and 'nduja instead of vongole.
